“Mid 2016 our builder went into liquidation when our house was only at frame stage. This was obviously a very difficult time for us and we needed to find a reliable builder that was willing to take over the project.
Through recommendations from friends who had previously used Trademark builders, we contacted Marc Taweel.
Based on what we’d just gone through we were extremely cautious and very thorough in our vetting process, ensuring that our new builder would be reliable and someone we could trust with the continuation of our build.
The feedback we had prior to engaging Marc from people we knew was exceptional. Many said that they would build again through Trademark without hesitation. We also viewed one of Marc’s prior projects and were amazed, not only with the finish of the home but also the fantastic feedback from the owners, in terms of his workmanship and approach to the build.
Marc commenced the completion of our build late 2016.
What impressed us from the very start of the building process were often the simple things. Marc was extremely approachable and accommodating. He would always return our calls or meet us on site whenever we wanted to discuss anything, which ensured that our build was as planned without surprises.
Another aspect we found very pleasing was that Marc identified many opportunities for improvements from our original plans, whether it be changing a component of the design to make it more practical, suggestions of alternative building materials for cost efficiency or superior quality or to generally achieve a better finish. Ultimately the final decision on these variations resided with us and I am happy to say that we took Marc’s advice on almost all recommendations and to this day we do not regret any of them.
Marc and his team were meticulous about the workmanship and they had a fastidious eye for detail. This has been evident in that fact that 12months on from hand over we have had very little to follow up on with Trademark builders.
We do not plan to build again; however should we ever decide to, we would without question engage Marc and his team to build our next family home.”
